A year in the life of our Miss Riley

Je ne regrette rien

Earlier tonight, my husband pinned Riley down to trim her nails. As he went to get up at the end of it, he was rather inconveniently placed, and she let him have it — farting right in his face.

She regrets nothing.

Resting Easier

I did a little research on doggie flatulence today. I remember when both dogs had the issue, and it was when the kibble we used to supplement their raw diets changed formula ever so slightly. So I thought maybe the kibble was the culprit. Since it seems to happen more in the evening than any other time, tonight, I fed Riley only raw, no kibble, and a little bit of plain yogurt on top.

Lo and behold, she fell asleep after dinner and there was clean air. And peace in the kingdom.

Such an innocent face, but this one was crop dusting the den all evening. Any fellow dog caretakers have any ideas? Is there such a thing as Doggie Beano?

Post-Dinner Nap

As Riley lets dinner digest, she lets us know it — she looks sweet to you guys reading this, but she’s dropped a few stinkbombs on us as we all sit here.
