A year in the life of our Miss Riley

Flying Solo

on January 22, 2015

Today I felt comfortable enough with Riley’s progress to go to my office. So I left at the crack of dawn, and my husband fed her (incidentally, now she sees the egg and knows it’s for her and goes berserk the entire time we’re cooking it), pilled her, and settled her into the laundry room with an old quilt on the floor, her bed, and water. When I came home, she was sleeping peacefully. Woke her up, took her out, and things were almost normal. She seems glad to have company again, though, resting comfortably by the couch.

Isn’t it lovely to see an older dog go berserk? That’s really funny.
