A year in the life of our Miss Riley

Behold, the Power of Cheese

on September 2, 2014

Today when I got home, I needed a snack and snagged some cheese slices. Miss Riley was not about to miss out on that. She took her accustomed position next to the couch and just propped her head up, waiting for her tidbit. I’m lucky she’s mellowed; she was once known to climb on people, snout first, when in cheese-seeking-missile mode — now she just pokes me with her nose to ask if there’s any left.

You SURE there's no more cheese?

Maybe it’s a black lab thing…At my house, Abby (black lab) loves cheese and can sense when It comes out of the fridge. Shelby (sheppard mix) doesn’t really like it. She will take a piece and roll it around her mouth and spit it out….Abby eats that piece too.
