A year in the life of our Miss Riley

Sleepy Welcome Home

One big difference now that Riley’s older is she doesn’t always greet us at the door when we get home. And she looks so peaceful that after I check to make sure she’s still breathing (yes, I really do that), I let her wake up on her own. And she’s so sweet when she does, giving me this look that says, “Oh, when did you get back? I’m glad you’re here.” After a lick of greeting comes The Yawn:
